Student leaders representing over 25 colleges and universities are expected to attend the regional conference, which will be held October 17-18, 2008, in Boise ID. The Northwest region includes Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Montana and Wyoming.
The theme of the conference will be: "De Educacion a Accion" and the keynote speaker will be Jimmy Cabrera, one of the top-rated speakers in the nation. Click to see a tentative agenda and our speaker's bio.
The student leadership conference will focus on getting-out-the-vote, social and cultural issues, promoting collegiate leadership development, and creating a strong network of Latino student organizations in the Northwest.
