Census Information
USHLI prides itself in compiling useful, indepth
and comprehensive statistical information about Latinos
in the United States. As an official Census Information
Center, USHLI receives all available census information
from which we create demographic profiles, brief data
overviews and color thematic maps of major cities,
counties and states. Most general information can
be found here on our website, however, we also are
able to fulfill requests for more specific information.
Latest Census Reports on Asian Americans, Black
Americans, and Hispanic Americans
These three reports present a portrait of racial
and ethnic population groups in the United States
based on data from the 2004 American Community Survey.
Each report provides information on a number of characteristics
(e.g., education, household type, income, commuting,
etc.). Data are presented in tables, figures, and
maps. In addition, the Asian and Hispanic reports
present data for selected detailed groups (Asian Indian,
Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese
for Asians; Guatemalans, Hondurans, Salvadorans, Colombians,
Ecuadorians, and Peruvians for Hispanics). Two additional
reports on the Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander
population and the American Indian and Alaska Native
population will be released later this year. Internet
