2026 Student Leadership Series Launch

More than 2,000 students representing 58 high schools in six states attended our 2025 Student Leadership Series (SLS) launch in Chicago. What’s more, recruiters representing 66 colleges and universities, as well as vocational and technical schools, attended as well.

High school teachers, counselors, and administrators are strongly encouraged to register their high schools and organizing their student delegations to attend one of the largest, most informative, and most exciting career and college recruitment fairs for Hispanic students in the nation!

The SLS serves as the cornerstone of USHLI’s campaign to create a culture of education in which academic persistence will become a priority in every Latino household. The program focuses on motivating students to stay in school, improve their academic performance, graduate from college, and pursue and successfully complete some level of post-secondary education or training. 

Since 2011, the SLS has reached over 978,800 participants across 39 states and over 3,530 organizations.
