Sophia Angelica is a talented, New York-based, bilingual Argentinean singer-songwriter and global activist for human rights. Her entertainment career began at the age of six singing at festivals. She made her television debut on “Good Day New York” and “Dora the Explorer” on Nickelodeon, followed by numerous other appearances.
In 2018, Sophia was the lead singer on a University Human Rights Tour in Taiwan. Soon after that, she was presented the “Breakthrough Artist Award” by the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors and later received the prestigious Presidential Volunteers Service Award in Washington, DC for her work with human rights. Having performed around the world, she works closely with the United Nations and has traveled internationally to help combat bullying and discrimination. She was invited by the Gates Foundation to perform in Thailand and has performed in well-known venues such as Times Square, Yankee Stadium, and Meadowlands Race Track.
Most recently, Sophia won a Marvin Hamlisch International Music Award under the category of Contemporary Pop, which was presented by the legendary Clive Davis. Her recently released debut album is #Angelicas.
